Our 2025 Priorities

Healthy Thriving Neighbors:

Economic Mobility: Increase economic mobility through connection to basic necessities, resources to increase income and access to homeownership

Senior Engagement: Improving the quality of life of our seniors through hosting connection events and resource fairs

Youth Workforce Development: Supporting youth post-graduation success through connection to workforce training which will lead to high-wage employment
Open & Transparent Communication:

Comprehensive Communication: Employ a variety of delivery methods for communication including monthly printed newsletter, website, social media, flyers, canvassing, phone calls, etc. to update neighbors of planning, updates and opportunities to get involved

Commitment To Transparency: Provide ongoing organization and board decision updates to community at meetings and through website
Community Improvements:

Collective Advocacy: Organize neighbors and stakeholders to advocate for investment to advance community improvements

Community Driven Planning: Participate in execution of community plans to ensure community input is driving plans for improvement

Empowering Resident Leadership: Provide open, equitable and consistent opportunities for community members to lead change projects in the community
Affordable Housing Development:

Prepare For Choice 2025: Carry out site assemblage to prepare for development of mixed income housing funding by HUD Choice Grant

Attract Affordable Development: Collaborate with developers to build affordable homes for rent and sale throughout the community

Maintain The Market: Study existing market and support plans for development that maintain a mixed income market and affordability for those at 80% AMI
Vibrant Business District:

Revitalize Business District: identify innovative strategies to fund rehabilitation of distressed buildings located in business district to attract new businesses

Community Process: Carry out community process to understand which businesses are desired by the community
